Your Clerk provides professional, independent and confidential governance support for schools and charities in Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. We support over a third of School Governing Bodies in the Borough of Poole, so the majority of our work is in Poole, but we are increasingly going further afield.
Your Clerk is now seeking experienced staff to join the team, as we expand. The role requires you to have your own transportation and the ability to work under your own initiative, to deadline, and without supervision. This role will suit anyone with an interest in education and law, who is looking for a job that is not the normal nine-to-five.
Our clients depend on our services to ensure they operate effectively, so commitment, reliability and trustworthiness are essential key attributes for all Your Clerk employees. We maintain a 100% attendance record with all our clients, and pride ourselves in being there and delivering on-time, every time; so tardiness and last-minute or unauthorised absences are NOT acceptable.
As part of the role, you will be expected to undertake assignments*, which involves attending meetings, in varying locations, starting at set times. We ask all Your Clerk employees to ensure they arrive for an assignment at least 15-minutes prior to the set start time. It is down to you as to how you manage your time, to ensure your assignment work is completed and submitted to your Line Manager by the required deadline. While you will have day-to-day support from your Line Manager, we encourage self-reliance, independence and initiative in all our staff.
Your Clerk will supply you with the equipment you need to complete your assignments, and full training is provided, so you can develop your own skills to become a fully accredited Governance Professional. You will also have regular one-to-one evaluation sessions with your Line Manager; allowing you to voice any concerns, or ask any questions you may have. We are seeking professional, reliable and dedicated personnel, whom we can invest in and develop; helping both you and our business grow
If you think you have what it takes to join the Your Clerk team, please send your CV, with a covering email letter, to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
